Hello, I’m Will at Will Marsh Music I’m proud to offer you the best in Indian instruments and customer experience. As a musician, I’m well aware of the challenges in purchasing an instrument that you haven’t had the chance to play in person so I do everything possible to make your experience optimal. How? By providing professional instrument demo videos, high quality photos and detailed product descriptions, it’s almost like having the instrument in front of you. The promise that I make to you as a customer is that each instrument meets a high quality standard and is ready to be played and enjoyed for many years.

Handmade instruments disclaimer: Please be aware that each individual instrument can vary in detail. These instruments are entirely handmade. Each one is unique and I do my best to ensure accurate description and photos. Know that there is likely to be some variation in detail such as the finish, inlay work and carving. I check each one to be sure that it functions optimally and meets quality standards.

Store FAQ’s and Return Policy

Is it safe to ship these instruments in the mail?

Yes. We’ve sent many worldwide and have refined a packing method that is time-tested and reliable. In the unlikely scenario that your order is damaged in shipment, don’t worry!

All shipments are fully insured and you’re protected with our shipping policy. Details below.

What happens if my product arrives damaged?

Fortunately, all of our shipments are fully insured for damage or loss in shipment. If your item is damaged, you will receive a full refund. In order to receive the refund please comply with the damage claims process by taking detailed photos of the damage. You will then return the package to sender via a prepaid shipping label that is sent to you. Please pack the item as it was packed. In case that the original packaging is damaged or unusable, please contact us so we can arrange new shipping materials for you.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. In order to ship internationally, I will need your shipping address to provide an accurate quote. We will then set up your order customized with the shipping info for your location. For international shipment inquiries please email will@willmarshmusic.com.

How do I track my order?

Your tracking number will be sent to you via your provided email promptly and you can use it to see your shipments progress.

Can I return an item?

Yes. Returns are accepted as long as the item is in its original condition for up to 30 days from original purchase date. To initiate a return, the customer will pay for return shipping and a 3.5% restocking fee. Note that the refund does not include the cost of the shipping to customer. For example if you purchased an instrument for $500 and the shipping was $100, your refund would be for $482.50 ($500 minus 3.5% restock fee)

What if a product I want to order is out of stock?

In case that an item is listed as out of stock, I recommend that you email me to be notified as soon as it becomes available. If you’d like to guarantee the next available product, you can make a pre-order deposit by emailing will@willmarshmusic.com.

I expected my instrument to be in pristine condition and I see some aesthetic flaws. What can you do for me?

If you’re not familiar with handmade instruments from India, it is normal that no one instrument is free from cosmetic imperfection. As mentioned, each one is checked and set up for optimal playing. If you’re someone expecting an instrument that is completely flawless and pristine, this is probably not the right place for you.

Is there warranties on instruments?

The electric sitar comes with a one year warranty. As it is unlikely for an acoustic instrument to become flawed structurally, there is no warranty on acoustic instruments.
